 Functional Description:
 
 
 
 The Teaching Assistant in the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Unit will primarily be responsible for managing AI-related laboratory sessions, supporting faculty in research projects, and assisting in teaching-related activities. This role is essential in ensuring the effective delivery of AI courses and fostering a hands-on learning environment for students.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Major Duties and Responsibilities:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Prepare, maintain, and oversee AI lab equipment, software, and resources.
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct and supervise practical lab sessions, ensuring students effectively apply theoretical AI concepts.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist students in debugging and troubleshooting AI-related coding issues and machine learning model implementation.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure the smooth operation of AI tools, frameworks, and computational resources.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist faculty members in preparing course materials, assignments, and projects.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide guidance to students in understanding AI concepts and applications.
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct tutorial sessions or supplementary instruction when needed.
 </li>
 <li>
 Grade assignments, projects, and quizzes under faculty supervision.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist faculty and students in AI-related research projects.
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct literature reviews and help with data collection and analysis.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist the preparation of research papers, presentations, and reports.
 </li>
 <li>
 Stay updated with the latest developments in AI, machine learning, and deep learning.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain records of lab activities and student performance in practical sessions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure compliance with university policies and safety protocols within the lab.
 </li>
 <li>
 Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Required Education, Skills and Experience:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Artificial Intelligence.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong knowledge of AI, machine learning, deep learning, and related programming languages (Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.).
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience in conducting lab sessions and working with AI tools and frameworks.
 </li>
 <li>
 Research experience in AI-related projects is a plus.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prior teaching or tutoring experience is preferred.
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent command of English language (spoken and written).
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 High professional ethics.
 </li>
