<div><p>The UT Extension office in Williamson County is currently seeking applications for a Part Time Administrative Associate to join the administration team, providing essential support to county staff and clientele. The role involves managing calendars, coordinating travel, handling expense reports, ordering supplies, maintaining office organization, and supporting various programmatic projects and events. This position reports directly to the County Director.</p></div>
<br><div><ul><li>Answer phones, scheduling, routing requests, checking mail and e-mail errands.
</li><li>Bookkeeping including, but not limited to accounts receivable, cash deposits, accounts payable, financial accounts reconciliation, equipment inventory, time entry, annual and sick leave balances using DASH, and travel reports.
</li><li>Compile yearly calendar, schedule of events, and maintain calendar for conference room.
</li><li>Produce newsletters materials, maintain list of participants and sponsors, and complete correspondence to assist agents and programs assistants with various types of programs.
</li><li>Order office supplies and postage as needed and make sure proper care and maintenance is given to all equipment.
</li><li>Must provide leadership for a program of activities that meets the needs of all eligible clientele regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, disability, religion, or veteran status.</li></ul></div>
<br><div><p><b>Required Qualifications:
</b></p><ul><li>High school graduate or equivalent.
</li><li>Office type environment work of 1-3 years.
</li><li>Prior experience or background knowledge of Extension.
</li><li>Experience working with the public.
</li>Must have a valid driver&rsquo;s license<br>

</b></p><ul><li>Computer knowledge (Word, Excel), typing skills and bookkeeping skills.

</li><li>Knowledge and ability to maintain good public relations with local community.
</li><li>General knowledge of office equipment.
</li><li>Basic knowledge of working with budgets and / or bookkeeping.
</li>Ability to multitask and maintain the county office when all other staff may be in the field serving clientele.<br>

</b></p><ul><li>Classes from a community college or vocational/business school in computer and office skills are a plus.
</li>The CAP rating also a plus (this would include training in accounting, office management, office technology, and business administration).<br>

<div><p>The Business Manager manages and oversees all business, financial, budgetary, human resource, and administrative functions within the Department of Nutrition and Public Health Sciences. This role ensures compliance with university policies and procedures, provides fiscal guidance, supports departmental leadership, and supervises non-exempt staff to ensure efficient and effective operations.</p></div>

</b></p><ul><li>Provides approval authority, in collaboration with the department head, for financial and administrative transactions.
</li><li>Manages and oversees expenditures across state, gift, income, start‑up, and research accounts.
</li><li>Oversees purchasing, accounts payable/receivable, procurement card activity, travel, reimbursements, and inventory.
</li><li>Performs monthly ledger reconciliation and prepares financial reports and projections.
</li><li>Evaluates and improves departmental business procedures.
</li><li>Represents the department in college‑level financial meetings.
</li><li>Oversees summer school financial projections and viability assessments.
</li><li>Provides financial control information to dept. head and faculty regarding unrestricted funding
</li>Provides financial and human resource training for departmental faculty and staff as needed<br>
