Veevo Tech is a product-based company having more than a decade of experience and established products and solutions within the business productivity &amp; communication segment including SMS, Voice Call, and WhatsApp.Internet of Things Solutions &amp; Products, and SaaS-based Business automation software products.We are looking for Web Engineer (NodeJS):<ul><li>Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js).</li><li>Write clean, reusable, and efficient code following best practices, design patterns, and coding standards.</li><li>Develop and consume RESTful APIs and integrate multiple data sources into unified systems.</li><li>Implement robust security measures for data protection, secure storage, and access management in line with industry standards.</li><li>Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve application defects and provide timely technical support, including handling urgent issues outside of regular business hours.</li><li>Work with databases, both relational (SQL) and non-relational (MongoDB), optimizing queries and database structure for performance and reliability.</li><li>Utilize version control systems (e.g., Git) for source code management and collaborative development.</li><li>Stay updated with emerging technologies and trends, proposing innovative solutions to improve processes and application performance.</li><li>Document development processes, including database schema designs, APIs, and system workflows, to ensure maintainability and knowledge sharing.</li><li>Collaborate with the team to design scalable, centralized architectures, considering accessibility and security compliance.</li><li>Leverage modern architectural practices such as microservices, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and serverless environments where applicable.</li><li>Optimize applications for maximum performance, scalability, and maintainability.</li></ul>Required Skills and Qualifications:<ul><li>2&ndash;3 years of hands-on development experience in Node.js and building production-ready web applications.</li><li>Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one modern front-end framework (React preferred).</li><li>Solid understanding of databases (SQL and NoSQL), web services, and API design/consumption.</li><li>Experience in implementing testable, reusable, and efficient code, adhering to best practices and design patterns.</li><li>Proven experience in debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving issues efficiently.</li><li>Knowledge of security standards, data protection, and secure storage practices.</li><li>Familiarity with modern architectural trends such as microservices, containerization, and serverless computing is a plus.</li><li>Ability to integrate multiple data sources into a unified, optimized system.</li><li>Strong documentation skills for system architecture, database schemas, and APIs.</li><li>Passion for learning, continuous improvement, and keeping up-to-date with technology trends.</li></ul>This is a full-time permanent contract-bound office-based Job &amp; the starting salary would be 40K-60K as per professional experience + other allowances.The position is available within VT ISB &amp; PSH Offices, The ISB Office is adjacent to G-13 Metro Station Srinagar highway, whereas the Peshawar Office is at Jawad Towers, Uni Road - you can switch to any at your convenience.Pay &amp; Perks: - Basic Pay - Free Company Maintained Accommodation (if required). - Fuel Allowance (if applicable). - Emergency Health Cover (Applicable after 01 year). - Paid Annual Leaves. - Employee Old Age Benefit Contribution (EOBI). - A healthy &amp; glass door open working environment.Veevo Tech is an equal opportunity employer and the first tech company which have introduce a 50/50 gender ratio, for ref: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u1HFAlKhZOQWe celebrate, support, and thrive on diversity be it of gender, race, caste, creed, colour, religion, sex, national origin, or disability, we are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.To apply for this position either post your CV here or head towards the company's official portal at https://veevotech.com/career for more details you can write us at HR@veevotech.comPay: Rs40,000.00 - Rs60,000.00 per monthWork Location: In person
