Our program includes cheeses, oils, nuts and dried fruits, pasta, pastry ingredients, and much more.We are currently looking for a TRANSPORTATION SUPERVISOR for our distribution center in Hayward, CA.Duties/Responsibilities:<ul><li>Supervise a pre-set team of route and drivers</li><li>Assure timely dispatch of routes</li><li>Ensure vehicles are in top working condition for next day's operation</li><li>Perform all daily dispatch duties</li><li>Complete all dispatch and route logs</li><li>Hire, train, discipline drivers</li><li>Communicate with Sales staff</li><li>Utilize company tools such as Produce Pro, cellular devices &amp; NOVAtime to assist with daily tasks</li><li>Requirements</li><li>Candidate must have clean DMV record and pass a road driving test</li><li>Must have excellent communication skills</li><li>Excellent Math, English and speaking skills</li><li>Able to handle pressure, complete projects and meet deadlines</li><li>Distribution, previous Management and/or Produce Industry experience a plus</li><li>Ability to work with management and administrative level customers both internally and externally</li><li>Strong organizational and analytical skills</li><li>Ability to multi task</li><li>Excellent computer skills required (PC, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook &amp; Produce Pro)</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $26.00 - $27.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Employee discount</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Retirement plan</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>People with a criminal record are encouraged to applyAbility to Relocate:<ul><li>Hayward, CA 94544: Relocate before starting work (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
