About the RoleWe are looking for a hands-on custom WordPress developer &mdash; not a page-builder user. You should be able to build themes and plugins from scratch with clean, secure, well-structured code. This is a versatile role that spans custom WordPress development, server/deployment work, and modern JavaScript application development.The ideal candidate is comfortable writing code by hand, understands WordPress and WooCommerce internals deeply, takes site security seriously, and can manage a project from local development through to live deployment.Key ResponsibilitiesPriority 1 &mdash; Custom WordPress &amp; WooCommerce Development (Primary Focus)<ul><li>Build custom WordPress themes from scratch &mdash; no reliance on Elementor, Divi, or other drag-and-drop builders.</li><li>Develop custom plugins to extend WordPress functionality.</li><li>Implement AJAX functionality and robust form validation (client- and server-side).</li><li>Strong hands-on WooCommerce experience &mdash; product setup, custom cart and checkout flows, and store customization.</li><li>Integrate payment gateways such as Stripe and PayPal, including custom integration methods and APIs.</li><li>Build and manage blogs &mdash; post types, categories, archives, and custom blog layouts.</li><li>Work with custom post types, taxonomies, and meta fields.</li><li>Build dynamic layouts using ACF and ACF Pro (Advanced Custom Fields).</li><li>Develop custom navigation menus using Walker_Nav_Menu classes.</li><li>Build and consume the WordPress REST API &mdash; create custom endpoints and integrate external/headless front-ends.</li><li>Extend and customize WordPress using action and filter hooks (add_action, add_filter, custom hooks).</li><li>Develop shortcodes, widgets, and custom Gutenberg blocks as needed.</li><li>Write efficient custom queries with WP_Query and the $wpdb database layer.</li><li>Properly enqueue scripts and styles, and follow data sanitization and escaping best practices.</li><li>Apply strong security measures, including protection against Japanese keyword hacks and other SEO-spam injection attacks, brute-force login attacks, and general WordPress hardening (file permissions, login protection, malware prevention).</li><li>Manage redirections (301/302) and apply solid on-page SEO practices.</li></ul>Priority 2 &mdash; Server, Deployment &amp; Email Administration<ul><li>Handle server setup and deployment of sites to live/production environments.</li><li>Create and configure email accounts and mailboxes.</li><li>Diagnose and resolve email issues (deliverability, bounces, spam flags).</li><li>Verify and configure email DNS records &mdash; SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and MX.</li><li>Use Git/GitHub for version control, branching, and collaborative workflows.</li></ul>Priority 3 &mdash; MERN Stack Development<ul><li>Build and maintain applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js).</li><li>Develop REST APIs and connect front-end React applications to back-end services.</li></ul>Priority 4 &mdash; Interactive Graphics (Nice to Have)<ul><li>Working knowledge of Fabric.js or Three.js for canvas-based or 3D interactive features.</li></ul>Required Skills<ul><li>Strong hands-on experience building custom WordPress themes and plugins (no page builders).</li><li>Deep knowledge of WooCommerce, including custom cart/checkout development and store management.</li><li>Experience integrating payment gateways &mdash; Stripe, PayPal, and similar APIs.</li><li>Proficiency with PHP, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, MySQL.</li><li>Experience with AJAX, ACF / ACF Pro, custom post types, and nav walkers.</li><li>Strong command of the WordPress REST API, action/filter hooks, shortcodes, and WP_Query/$wpdb.</li><li>Solid understanding of WordPress security and attack prevention.</li><li>Experience with server deployment and email DNS configuration (SPF/DKIM/DMARC).</li><li>Comfortable with Git/GitHub workflows.</li><li>Working knowledge of the MERN stack.</li><li>Good understanding of SEO fundamentals and redirection management.</li></ul>Nice to Have<ul><li>Experience with Fabric.js or Three.js.</li><li>Familiarity with cPanel / WHM, Cloudflare, or similar hosting/DNS tools.</li><li>Experience with performance optimization and caching.</li></ul>Location: Muslim Town, LahoreTiming: 9 AM to 6 PMContact us: 0327-1558890Pay: Rs80,000.00 - Rs150,000.00 per monthApplication Question(s):<ul><li>Have you built a complete WordPress theme from scratch (no Elementor, Divi, or other page builders)?
