 Systems Security Engineer
 
 to support a six-month task managing, updating, and securing a mission-critical Public Safety Systems (PSS) alarm monitoring environment in Jacksonville, FL. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day administration, optimization, and software modernization of a mixed infrastructure comprising Windows domain controllers, Citrix servers, and integrated digital video recording (DVR) and camera equipment. This role requires a blend of deep Windows systems administration, Citrix virtualization expertise, and hardware integration skills to upgrade end-of-life (EOL) software in direct support of an upcoming RMF re-authorization.; onsite in Jacksonville, FL.

 Key Responsibilities
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 System Administration &amp; Modernization: Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows Active Directory domain controllers, ensuring proper Group Policy Object (GPO) implementation and domain health
 </li>
 <li>
 Citrix Environment Management: Oversee the operation, maintenance, and optimization of Citrix servers delivering core alarm monitoring and video applications to end-users
 </li>
 <li>
 Software Lifecycle Updates: Lead the planning and execution of critical software updates and patches to remediate End-of-Life (EOL) application components across the enclave
 </li>
 <li>
 Physical Security Infrastructure Integration: Support the integration, configuration, and performance tuning of digital video recording (DVR) and camera equipment connected to the local PSS infrastructure
 </li>
 <li>
 RMF Technical Support: Design and implement technical fixes, patches, and configurations to meet Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) STIG requirements and NIST SP 800-53 Rev 5 controls
 </li>
 <li>
 Infrastructure Configuration Management: Maintain rigorous configuration control over the environment's compute, storage, and networking hardware, ensuring all updates are documented
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Qualifications
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Experience: 7+ years of experience in Windows Systems Administration, Active Directory management, and Virtualization/Citrix engineering
 </li>
 <li>
 Citrix Expertise: Proven experience configuring, upgrading, and troubleshooting Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops environments
 </li>
 <li>
 Hardware Familiarity: Direct experience working with physical security components, including IP cameras, DVRs, or CCTV systems
 </li>
 <li>
 Security Compliance: Strong hands-on knowledge of implementing DoD/Navy Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) on Windows Server operating systems
 </li>
 <li>
 Clearance: Must possess an active DoD Secret security clearance
 </li>
 <li>
 Education: Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent practical experience)

 PAY RANGE
 
 
 
 Final salary is influenced by factors such as location, contract labor categories, experience, skills, education, and certifications. Watershed offers competitive compensation, medical and dental benefits, educational reimbursement, 401K plans with matching, 15 days of PTO to start and 11 paid holidays per year.  Watershed Security is seeking a highly skilled and motivated
 
 Information Systems Security Engineer
 
 to join our team supporting the Naval Information Warfare &ndash; Atlantic (NIWC-Atl) program. You'll be key in ensuring support, assessment, and authorization (A&amp;A), and cyber operations support including support for life-cycle management policy, guidance, oversight, and direction for a cyber analytics system.
 
 
 Key Responsibilities:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Responsible for building, deploying and Patching HBSS Windows and ACAS servers
 </li>
 <li>
 Responsible for building, maintaining, and patching all ePO, Security Center, and Nessus servers
 </li>
 <li>
 Provides Security Center accounts for Vulnerability Managers to scan devices within ACAS
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist with remediation/mitigation or make recommendation based on vulnerability findings from ACAS and STIGs
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge of building virtual servers, deploying, and patching all McAfee modules via the ePO, configuring McAfee policies for each environment
 </li>
 <li>
 STIG&rsquo;ing HBSS Windows OS, McAfee policies to comply with benchmarks (Not reviewing or confirming), STIG&rsquo;ing other servers
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to Run SCAP scans on Windows and RHEL servers
 </li>
 <li>
 Able to troubleshoot Security Center and Nessus scanner issues
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist with selecting RMF Security Controls
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop technical documents like RMF policies, SLCM, IRP, DRP, Security CONOPS
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist with selecting RMF Security Controls
 </li>
 <li>
 Draft technical boundary and architecture diagrams
 </li>
 <li>
 Harden and implement applicable STIGs
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Required Qualifications
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 DoD Top Secret Clearance
 </li>
 <li>
 Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Engineering or similar
 </li>
 <li>
 Current IAT Level III (ex. CASP+/SecurityX, etc) in compliance with DoD 8570
 </li>
 <li>
 5+ years of Information Management/Information Technology experience providing both technical and cyber analyst support, HBSS, ACAS
 </li>
 <li>
 Cyber analyst experience should include supporting the development, review, and approval of RMF A&amp;A packages for software systems and enclaves
 </li>
 <li>
 5+ years of experience with IA / INFOSEC concepts and requirements: Firewall Policy, Ports &amp; Protocols, Cybersecurity, Cybersafe, DoD/DON RMF processes and standards, etc
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience with wireless technologies and IEEE 802.11 standards is required
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience with the DISA published Security Technical Information Guidance (STIG) requirements and compliance processes, SCAP Content Checker, Security Readiness Review (SRRs), and other DoD approved tools like eMASSter or Vulnerator
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to manage time well to meet assigned milestones
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong communication skills; motivated to investigate, analyze, and document system issues and resolutions; provides consistent status updates to ensure IT security projects stay focused
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong work ethic and a proven professional - respectful, dependable, takes initiative and follows through
