Ability to stand for long periods of time without a break</li><li>

We are looking for an HR Generalist who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about supporting our people and field operations.Job SummaryThe HR Generalist supports daily HR operations including employee relations, compliance, recruiting, onboarding, training coordination, benefits administration, HR systems, and policy implementation. This role is hands-on, detail-oriented, and critical to ensuring consistency, accuracy, and compliance across the organization.Key ResponsibilitiesEmployee Relations &amp; Compliance<ul><li>Serve as a primary HR point of contact for managers and team members across multiple states.</li><li>Support employee relations investigations, documentation, coaching, and corrective action processes.</li><li>Assist with compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including FLSA, ADA, FMLA, Paid Leave laws, minor labor requirements, and break/rest rules.</li><li>Maintain accurate records, files, and HR documentation.</li><li>Assist with policy rollouts, updates, and companywide HR communication.</li><li>Conduct New Hire Audits to ensure I-9 accuracy, onboarding completion, proper Paycor setup, correct job codes, wage rates, tax forms, E-Verify checks, and compliance with state-specific onboarding requirements.</li></ul>Recruiting &amp; Onboarding<ul><li>Assist with recruiting efforts for restaurant leadership and hourly roles; partner with hiring managers on candidate flow.</li><li>Coordinate interviews, background checks, new-hire paperwork, and onboarding tasks.</li><li>Ensure new hires are accurately and timely entered into Paycor and assigned correct market, location, and position.</li></ul>Training &amp; Development<ul><li>Coordinate monthly HR Learning Sessions</li><li>Track completion of key required training (harassment prevention, safety practices, time-editing policies, etc.).</li><li>Help build or update training materials, job aids, and HR resources.</li></ul>Benefits, Payroll &amp; HR Systems<ul><li>Assist with benefits administration, including open enrollment, eligibility tracking, and employee questions.</li><li>Support payroll-related concerns, including wage adjustments, timekeeping corrections, and Paycor troubleshooting.</li><li>Maintain HRIS data integrity and run reports as needed (turnover, staffing, headcount, new hires, terminations, etc.).</li></ul>Culture &amp; Employee Experience<ul><li>Support employee engagement programs, recognition initiatives, and culture-building efforts.</li><li>Assist with communication rollouts, newsletters, and HR updates.</li><li>Support new-store openings, orientation, and leadership onboarding.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>5+ years of HR experience with a multi-unit restaurant group</li><li>Strong understanding of employment laws and HR compliance.</li><li>Experience with HRIS systems</li><li>Excellent communication, follow-through, and attention to detail.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.</li><li>Bilingual Required</li><li>Ability to travel locally and occasionally out of state.</li><li>PHR/SPHR/SHRM Certification Preferred</li></ul>Pay: $60,000.00 - $82,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
