Duties and Responsibilities</b></h3><br>
<ul>
<li>
Design and refresh marketing materials&mdash;product sheets, brochures, catalogs, tradeshow assets, and presentations&mdash;that make our brand shine.</li>
<li>Create eye-catching graphics for social media, email campaigns, and our corporate website.</li>
<li>Develop responsive, user-friendly web layouts and landing pages that elevate the customer experience.</li>
<li>Collaborate with Web and Digital Marketing teams to ensure consistent, engaging designs across all platforms.</li>
<li>Maintain and update content in CMS tools while keeping brand standards front and center.</li>
<li>Design UI/UX elements like icons, buttons, and navigation for new web features.</li>
<li>Produce visuals for internal communications and signage that keep our team connected.</li>
<li>Edit and optimize photography for marketing use, managing uploads in our Digital Asset Manager (DAM).</li>
<li>Keep our asset library organized and up-to-date for easy access across teams.</li>
<li>Work independently and collaboratively to conceptualize and execute creative projects.</li>
<li>Participate in creative reviews and contribute ideas that strengthen Whelen&rsquo;s brand presence.</li>
<li>Help improve workflows and refine templates for greater efficiency.</li></ul><br>
<h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Education and Experience<br>
</b></h3><br>
<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual communication, or equivalent experience.</li>
<li>3+ years of professional design experience in marketing, corporate, or agency settings.</li>
<li>Expert in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, InCopy); motion graphics experience (After Effects or Premiere Pro) is a plus.</li>
<li>Skilled in designing both print and digital media, including social media, email, and web.</li>
<li>Familiar with web design principles, responsive layouts, and UX/UI best practices.</li>
<li>Experience with CMS platforms and Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems.</li>
<li>Bonus points for Figma experience and digital prototyping skills.</li>
<li>Strong eye for typography, layout, and visual hierarchy.</li>
<li>Detail-oriented, organized, and able to juggle multiple projects under tight deadlines.</li>
<li>Excellent communicator and collaborator with a proactive, creative mindset.</li></ul><br>
