Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment for students with diverse learning needs. This role requires a strong commitment to fostering the academic, social, and emotional growth of each student, ensuring they reach their full potential.Duties<ul><li>Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique needs of each student.</li><li>Provide instruction in various subjects, including literacy education, while utilizing specialized teaching strategies.</li><li>Collaborate with parents, teachers, and support staff to create a cohesive educational experience.</li><li>Conduct assessments and standardized testing to monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly.</li><li>Facilitate speech therapy sessions as needed to support communication development.</li><li>Engage in mentoring relationships with students to promote self-esteem and confidence.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress.</li><li>Utilize library services and resources to enhance learning opportunities for students.</li><li>Participate in professional development activities to stay current with best practices in special education.</li></ul>Experience Candidates should possess a background in early childhood education or related fields. Experience working with preschool-aged children or in private school settings is highly desirable. Familiarity with literacy education techniques, proofreading skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with students, parents, and colleagues are essential for success in this role.
