</div><div><ul><li>Associate&rsquo;s degree in computer science or related field preferred or equivalent experience.

The Lead Teacher is responsible for administering child care programs at designated YMCA program sites. <li>Work with supervisor on promotional activities and flyers.</li>
<li>Work with supervisor to develop and distribute site informational newsletters to parents.</li>
<li>Follow YMCA and state quality guidelines in operating site.</li>
<li>Develop and maintain positive communication with parents.</li>
<li>Develop and implement family activities/events.</li>
<li>Represent YMCA by developing positive working relationships with program participants and parents.</li>
<li>May be need to be named on the license & supports the Site Director in ensuring all licensing requirements are followed.</li>
</ul>
QUALIFICATIONS:Education & Certifications: 
<ul>
<li>Minimum high school diploma</li>
<li>Certification in CPR at the level of Basic Life Support or Professional Rescuer, Basic First Aid, and Emergency Oxygen Administration and associated- determined safety training required within 30 days of hire.</li>
</ul>
Experience: 
<ul>
<li>Minimum 2 years working in a licensed childcare program.</li>
<li>Previous experience WORKING with diverse populations preferred.</li>
<li>Minimum 1-year experience working with Microsoft office products.</li>
<li>Minimum 1 years' experience with all ODJFS licensing procedures and Step Up to Quality requirements preferred.</li>
</ul>
Technical Skills and Knowledge
 <ul>
<li>Willingness and ability to be a mandated reporter for any signs or suspicion of child abuse and neglect. All employees are required to follow the child abuse and neglect reporting process: completion of Suspected Child Abuse/Neglect reporting form, calling children protective services (696-Kids) and notifying your immediate supervisor, branch executive, risk management and human resources department (s).</li>

<li>Ability to foster a collaborative team approach to solving challenging situations.</li>
<li>Excellent time management, customer service, attention to detail and organizational skills</li>
<li>Ability to multitask and handle high volume of work</li>
<li>Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office suite with excellent Excel skills, experience with comparable payroll/HRIS system preference for ADP, Kronos, or Ceridian.</li>
