A BETTER US STARTS WITH U! At the YMCA, we are looking for a Marketing Intern to join our team for Spring 2026. This intern will gain hands-on experience in digital content management, social media, email marketing and content creation. The role will provide opportunities for learning and development in a dynamic, collaborative
environment. This internship is onsite at the YMCA of Metropolitan Chattanooga office (Downtown Chattanooga) and may require occasional travel to other Y branches.
RESPONSIBILTIES:<ul><li>
Assist in editing and compiling promotional materials for YMCA programs and events.</li><li>
Help schedule content for digital platforms including social media, email marketing, and website.</li><li>
Support the Marketing Manager is brainstorming and developing digital content across various social media channels.</li><li>
Help make light content edits to design templates for marketing materials.</li><li>
Assist in collecting photos, videos, and stories highlighting YMCA programs and success stories.</li><li>
Assist in video, photo, and graphic asset library organization and management.</li><li>
Help implement SEO strategies to enhance the visibility of YMCA content online.</li><li>
Perform other marketing-related tasks as assigned.</li></ul>
QUALIFICATIONS &amp; SKILLS:<ul><li>
Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Graphic Design, or related field.</li><li>
Strong interest in marketing, digital content creation, and social media.</li><li>
Basic knowledge of graphic design programs like Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator is a plus.</li><li>
Familiarity with digital marketing platforms such as Hootsuite, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, Google Analytics, or email marketing platforms like Constant Contact preferred.</li><li>
Basic web editing skills.</li><li>
Strong written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>
Attention to detail and creativity in content design and execution.</li><li>
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.</li><li>
Must be able to travel locally to other Y branches as needed.</li><li>
Schedule to be determined with the candidate, including at least 15 hours per week during weekdays.</li></ul>

Marketing Intern - Spring 2026 - YMCA of Metro Chattanooga

<div>The Fox West YMCA is hiring full-time lead-qualified child care teachers for our 3-year old room. As an early childhood teacher, you will develop your own lessons plans for the children in your room. You'll create an environment that fosters early learning and social development. Enhance children's learning experience through play, language, and interactive activities, as well as use positive procedures when guiding children's behavior. Families love bringing their children to our early childhood care programs because of our amazing teachers. As a lead teacher, you will interact frequently and affectionately with children around 3-years old. 


This is a full-time position with hours of availability, Monday through Friday between 6:00 am-6:00 pm.
Applicants who do not obtain these courses are encouraged to apply. The Y can provide coursework &amp; support to complete these requirements.
<ul><li>
18 years of age or older.</li><li>
Completed high school or its equivalency as determined by the DPI.</li><li>
Previous experience working with infants and children is preferred.</li></ul> 


Lead Teacher Positions Possess one or more of the following or willing to complete within 6-months of hire, in addition to completing Introduction to Child Care Professions:
<ul><li>Skills and Strategies for the Childcare teacher</li><li>
Associate&rsquo;s degree or bachelor&rsquo;s degree in early childhood education or education-related.</li><li>
Teacher registry certificate</li></ul>
