About the role
- Oversee the installation, preventive, predictive, corrective, and emergency maintenance, testing, calibration, replacement, and upgrading of all types of electrical meters, including smart metering systems.
- Ensure all electrical meter installations comply with approved specifications, company standards, regulatory requirements, and health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical metering systems to maintain accurate, reliable, and uninterrupted meter readings.
- Coordinate with internal engineering teams, contractors, and service providers to optimize meter performance, system reliability, and data accuracy.
- Monitor and support the operation, maintenance, and integration of meter communication systems to ensure seamless data transmission.
- Supervise installation and maintenance activities, monitor work progress, identify defects and non-conformities, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Prepare technical reports, performance dashboards, and operational analyses on installation progress, meter performance, maintenance activities, and system reliability.
- Ensure all personnel maintain valid permits, certifications, competency records, and mandatory training requirements in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
