Oracle PL/SQL Developer

Job Description

• Develop, test, and implement PL/SQL code for various data interfaces and ETL processes.
• Design and optimize database objects such as tables, views, indexes, package and procedures to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with data architects and business analysts to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Conduct performance tuning and troubleshooting of PL/SQL applications to enhance efficiency and reliability.
• Monitor database performance and implement best practices for resource optimization.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for development processes, data flows, and system architecture.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Assist in the migration and integration of data between systems, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
• Stay updated on Oracle technologies and industry trends to continuously improve development processes.

Job Specification

• Strong proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL, with hands-on experience in writing complex queries, procedures, and functions.
• Strong Handson experience on Advanced PL/SQL Programming, Writing packages (spec & body) Using records & collections and Ref cursors.
• Experience in interface development, including data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
• In-depth knowledge of performance tuning techniques for PL/SQL and Oracle databases.
• Familiarity with Oracle Database architecture and best practices.
• Proficient in using tools for version control, debugging, and performance monitoring
• Experience with data modeling and database design principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with experience working in cross-functional teams.
