About the Role

BOOPORG Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a passionate, detail-oriented, and highly skilled Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems that power our web platforms and mobile applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in server-side development, API architecture, database management, cloud infrastructure, and security best practices.

You will work closely with UI/UX designers, Frontend Developers, Mobile App Developers, DevOps Engineers, QA teams, and Product Managers to build secure, scalable, and high-performance applications.

Key Responsibilities

Backend Development

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications for web and mobile platforms.
• Develop secure, reusable, and optimized RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Build business logic and server-side functionalities for customer-facing applications.
• Integrate backend systems with web applications, Android apps, iOS applications, and third-party services.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.

Database Management

• Design and manage relational and NoSQL databases.
• Optimize database queries for maximum performance.
• Create database schemas and maintain data integrity.
• Handle database migrations, indexing, backups, and recovery.
• Monitor database performance and implement optimization strategies.

API Development & Integration

• Develop REST APIs and GraphQL APIs.
• Integrate payment gateways, SMS APIs, Email APIs, Maps APIs, Authentication APIs, AI APIs, and third-party platforms.
• Implement OAuth, JWT, and secure authentication mechanisms.
• Develop API documentation using Swagger/Postman.

Security & Performance

• Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Protect applications against SQL Injection, XSS, CSRF, DDoS attacks, and API vulnerabilities.
• Ensure compliance with secure coding standards.
• Optimize server response time and application performance.
• Implement caching mechanisms using Redis or Memcached.

Cloud & Deployment

• Deploy backend applications on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Configure cloud services for scalability and high availability.
• Work with Docker and containerized applications.
• Assist in CI/CD pipeline implementation.
• Manage server environments and production deployments.

Application Maintenance

• Monitor application logs and troubleshoot production issues.
• Resolve bugs and optimize existing backend systems.
• Perform regular maintenance and security updates.
• Ensure high application uptime and reliability.

Collaboration

• Work closely with Frontend Developers to integrate APIs.
• Coordinate with Mobile App Developers for seamless backend integration.
• Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and technical discussions.
• Collaborate with QA teams during testing and deployment.
• Provide technical support during project implementation.

DevOps & Version Control

• Git & GitHub Docker Kubernetes (Preferred) Jenkins GitHub Actions CI/CD Pipelines

Third-Party Integrations

Experience integrating:

• Razorpay Stripe PayU Google Maps Firebase Twilio WhatsApp Business API
• SendGrid AI APIs (OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, etc.) Social Login APIs

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in Backend Development.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Excellent understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms.
• Experience developing scalable web and mobile backend systems.
• Knowledge of software architecture and design patterns.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with experience in the following domains will be preferred:
