Overview

Club Z! In-Home Tutoring Services provides personalized, affordable and effective in-home, online and small group tutoring and test prep help. All our Tutors are qualified, knowledgeable and patient.

We are seeking high school Biology, Chemistry and Physics tutors. This is a part time position, $23-30 per hour based on experience, working with students in Staten Island. PLEASE NOTE: This is an IN-HOME tutoring position in Staten Island.

Staten Island residents preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized lesson plans tailored to each student's needs.
• Utilize various teaching methods and learning technologies to facilitate effective learning experiences.
• Assess student progress regularly and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and other educators regarding academic performance.
• Foster a supportive atmosphere that encourages student engagement and motivation.
• Maintain records of student progress and participation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, preferably with children or in a classroom setting.
• Strong skills in curriculum development and lesson planning.
• Experience working with students who have special educational needs is highly desirable.
• Background in early childhood education or preschool experience is a plus.
• Excellent writing skills for creating educational materials and communicating with stakeholders.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour
