Cashier (Full-Time, Non-Seasonal)

Towne & Oak, a bustling cafe & private event space in Winnetka is hiring a full-time, non-seasonal (our summer positions are currently full), cashier! Join our team of creative, hardworking, industry professionals

Responsibilities

• Serve all guests in a timely & courteous manner
• Maintain high-level quality standards including consistency and presentation
• Clean, stock, and maintain food & beverages throughout shift
• Follow & maintain all sanitation standards for food, cleanliness, and safety
• Follow all cash handling policies & procedures to ensure safety of all employees, guests, and vendors
• Additional responsibilities as assigned by management

Qualifications

• Available full-time including Saturday's and Sunday's (7am-close)
• Non-seasonal
• Excellent communication, listening, and time management skills
• Basic knowledge of food & coffee plus an interest to learn more (training provided)
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and provide a consistent, high quality experience for all guests
• Ability to stand for up to 10 hours per day
• Capability to withstand warm temperatures and noisy environments
• Ability to occasionally lift & carry up to 25lbs
• Endure in various physical activities like reaching, bending, kneeling, climbing and moving about facility
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
