Prime Coat Coating Systems, the sole-source specialist for high-performance fluid-applied floor and wall coating systems, is seeking a professional and diligent Chat Support Representative to join our team. Based in United, Pennsylvania, USA, this Full-Time position is an excellent opportunity for an individual passionate about delivering outstanding customer service. As the first point of contact for many of our clients, you will play a crucial role in representing our brand and providing timely support regarding our comprehensive coating solutions for a variety of industries, from healthcare and food processing to heavy industrial manufacturing.

This role offers a competitive salary of $54,663 - $65,477 USD per annum.

Responsibilities

 

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer enquiries received through our live chat platform.
  • Provide prompt, accurate, and professional responses to questions regarding our products, services, and applications.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our coating systems, including epoxies, urethanes, and novolacs, to effectively guide clients.
  • Assist customers in identifying suitable coating solutions for their specific industry needs, whether for a clean room, a commercial kitchen, or a heavy-duty manufacturing facility.
  • Escalate complex technical queries or sales opportunities to the appropriate internal teams for resolution.
  • Meticulously document all customer interactions and feedback to contribute to continuous service improvement.
  • Uphold the professional standards of Prime Coat Coating Systems in every interaction, ensuring a positive and helpful customer experience.
  • Manage multiple chat conversations simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of quality and efficiency.

Qualifications
 

  • Proven experience in a customer support or client service role, with a strong preference for experience in a chat-based environment.
  • Exceptional written communication skills in English, with impeccable grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
  • The ability to quickly learn and articulate technical product information with clarity.
  • Strong multitasking skills and the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced setting.
  • A customer-centric mindset with a genuine desire to resolve enquiries and provide solutions.
  • Proficiency with standard office software and experience using CRM or helpdesk systems.
  • Previous experience in the coatings, construction, or B2B industrial products sector would be a significant advantage.
