We are currently looking for a Clinical Information Specialist to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for the training, implementation, and support of clinical information systems initiatives all from the comfort of your home office.
We know that moving between clinical workflows and IT systems can feel like learning a new language. As our Clinical Information Specialist, you'll play a vital role in helping our clinical teams succeed. Whether you're a nurse who loves data, a health informatics grad, or a seasoned EMR trainer, we want to hear from you.
Skills: A strong understanding of change management in information systems, excellent communication skills (written and verbal), and the natural ability to translate complex technical concepts into plain, everyday language for clinical staff.
Training & Education (Virtually) – Design, implement, and maintain training and support programs that empower clinicians to use information systems effectively. You'll host engaging virtual sessions, create easy-to-follow guides, and be the friendly expert they can always turn to for help.
Reporting & Analysis – Perform database reporting and clinical research across our integrated healthcare system. Your insights will directly inform decisions that improve patient care.
Data Management with Purpose – Compile, process, and maintain medical records in full alignment with medical, administrative, ethical, legal, and regulatory standards. You'll also validate information in databases for outcomes management and specialty registries—ensuring our data tells the right story.
Collaboration & Communication – Work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure data is properly conveyed and analyzed. You'll disseminate study information to key collaborators and keep everyone aligned—all through seamless virtual communication.
What You Bring to the Table
We care more about your mindset and potential than a long list of credentials. Here's what will help you thrive:
Education: A Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, Nursing, Health Information Management, or a related field is preferred—but if you have equivalent experience and a passion for this work, we absolutely want to talk.
Experience: Prior experience in a clinical setting combined with IT literacy. Even better if you've delivered information systems training to users before, but we provide comprehensive onboarding to get you up to speed.
