Concrete Plant Mechanic

Role Description:

This is a full-time on-site role located in Masqaţ, Oman, for a Concrete Batching Plant Mechanic. Key responsibilities include routine inspection, maintenance, and repair of batching plant machinery, equipment, and operating systems. The Mechanic will troubleshoot and resolve mechanical or operational issues, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and maintain proper documentation. Coordination with plant operators and production teams to minimise downtime and ensure efficient operations is essential. The role involves proactive planning and implementation of preventative maintenance programs to guarantee operational reliability.

Qualifications:

Experience with the operation and maintenance of batching plants and heavy equipment

Understanding of Ready Mix Concrete production and related processes

Knowledge of mechanical systems related to formwork and flatwork

Basic knowledge of carpentry as it relates to equipment repairs and maintenance

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a physically demanding environment

Understanding of safety standards and workplace compliance regulations

Relevant technical certification or vocational training; experience in the concrete production industry is highly preferred

Pay: From RO250.000 per month
