Job Overview
We are seeking energetic and passionate Dance Teachers interested in joining our new dance & fitness studio for kids & adults in New Port Richey, FL!

We are seeking teachers who will inspire students of all ages to discover the joy of movement and self-expression through dance. In this role, you will develop engaging curricula, lead dynamic dance classes, and foster a positive learning environment that encourages creativity, discipline, and confidence. Whether working with children, teens, or adults, your enthusiasm and expertise will help students achieve their personal best while cultivating a lifelong love for dance. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact through movement and artistry.

Duties

• Design and implement comprehensive dance curricula tailored to different age groups and skill levels, including ballet/pointe, musical theater, hip hop, contemporary, tap, acro, Zumba, yoga, heels jazz, barre fitness, and other dance fitness related classes.
• Lead engaging dance classes that motivate students to improve technique, coordination, and performance skills
• Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a safe, respectful, and inspiring learning environment
• Provide personalized feedback and tutoring to help students overcome challenges and reach their goals
• Incorporate creative elements such as choreography, photography of performances, or themed lessons to enrich the learning experience
• Plan lessons that integrate childhood development principles and cater to special education needs when applicable
• Maintain accurate attendance records, progress reports, and lesson plans

Skills

• Strong background in the dance or fitness styles you are applying for
• Experience in curriculum development and lesson planning for diverse age groups
• Excellent classroom management skills with the ability to engage students of all backgrounds
• Proven ability to work with children, teenagers, or adults in educational settings
• Knowledge of childhood development, early childhood education, and preschool experience is a plus
• Skills in photography for marketing/promotional material, documenting performances or student progress are desirable
• Familiarity with behavior management techniques and special education accommodations
