Expo/Food Runner/Server

Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as an Expo/Food Runner/Server, where you’ll be the vital link between the kitchen and the dining area, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for our guests. This energetic role combines food presentation, timely delivery, and exceptional customer service to create memorable dining experience for our customers. You’ll be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, managing food handling procedures, and supporting the restaurant’s hospitality standards—all while working in a fast-paced, lively environment that celebrates teamwork and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Safely handle and transport food from the kitchen to guests’ tables using proper manual handling and safe lifting practices.
• Assist with food preparation, plating, and presentation to meet quality standards.
• Buss tables efficiently by restocking tables and maintaining a clean dining area.
• Deliver food orders promptly to ensure hot and fresh service using POS systems such as Clover POS.
• Support kitchen staff with basic cleaning tasks, including sanitizing workstations and maintaining overall cleanliness of service areas.
• Provide in-person customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering menu questions, and ensuring guest needs are met with professionalism.
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate food running, guest requests, and service flow in a lively restaurant setting.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including lifting up to 40 pounds.
• Strong communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members.
• Experience with POS systems such as Clover POS is a plus but not a requirement.
• Capable of working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
