First/Second Grade Teacher

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Elementary School Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for students in grades K-3. By fostering their academic growth and social development. This role requires a strong commitment to educational excellence and the ability to engage students effectively.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to the diverse needs of students.
• Manage classroom dynamics to promote a positive learning atmosphere, utilizing effective classroom management techniques.
• Assess student progress through standardized testing and other evaluation methods, providing feedback to students and parents.
• Collaborate with fellow educators and administration on educational strategies, curriculum development, and school initiatives.
• Provide individualized support for students with special education needs, ensuring an inclusive classroom environment.
• Teach physical education classes, promoting health and wellness among students.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding student performance, behavior, and any concerns that may arise.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational trends.

Experience

• A Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field is required; teaching certification preferred.
• Experience in classroom management and education administration is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with tutoring techniques and strategies for teaching math is a plus.
• Previous experience in a private school setting is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with students, parents, and colleagues effectively.

Pay: $45,500.00 - $58,095.00 per year
