Full Time Barista

Job Summary
We are seeking a Full Time Barista to join our team of dedicated pastry cooks & cookie obsessed baristas. The Barista will prepare and serve high-quality coffee and espresso beverages, assist customers with bakery selections, maintain a clean and welcoming environment, and provide excellent customer service. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced setting and has a passion for coffee, food, and hospitality.

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages.
• Operate POS system efficiently for order processing and cash handling.
• Engage with customers warmly, taking orders, answering questions, and providing personalized recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation areas, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
• Manage cash register transactions accurately, including cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations.
• Assist with food handling and food service tasks, including food packaging.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality.

Qualifications

• Previous barista experience is preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
• Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling, and basic math for sales transactions.
• Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, afternoons, and Saturdays. (While we are busy for the holidays, we don't work any actual holidays! That means Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas & New Year's Day off.)

Pay begins at $13hr plus tips that average an additional $7-9hr.

Pay: From $13.00 per hour
