Job Summary

Kind Carrier is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Full-Time Box Truck Driver to operate a 26-foot box truck equipped with a lift gate. This position involves local and regional delivery routes throughout New York State and surrounding areas. We are looking for a professional driver who values reliability, customer service, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 26-foot box truck in compliance with all traffic laws and company policies
• Load and unload freight using a lift gate, pallet jack, and other equipment as needed
• Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules efficiently
• Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members
• Ensure cargo is secured and transported safely
• Provide professional and courteous service at delivery locations

Requirements

• Valid New York State Driver's License (CDL not required)
• Clean driving record
• Previous box truck driving experience preferred
• Ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds
• Strong work ethic and attention to safety
• Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor
• Ability to use smartphones, GPS navigation, and delivery apps
• Flexible availability, including occasional weekends when needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience delivering to medical facilities, pharmacies, or commercial locations
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices
• Experience with lift gates and pallet jacks
