Full-Time Infant Nanny (3 or 4-Day Work Week / Dual-Physician Family)

Responsibilities

• Infant Care & Safety: Attentive feeding, diapering, soothing, and strict adherence to safe sleep practices.
• Developmental Growth: Maintain a consistent daily routine while actively supporting early childhood milestones through reading, singing, tummy time, sensory play, and hands-on learning. This is a minimal-to-no-screen-time household.
• Tracking: Keep accurate daily logs of feedings, diapers, naps, and developmental milestones.
• Outings & Fresh Air: Enjoy daily outdoor walks with the baby (and occasionally the family dog).
• Child-Related Tasks: Wash bottles, prepare food/meals for the child as they grow, manage baby's laundry, and keep the nursery and play areas organized.
• Household Support (During Naps): Assist in maintaining a tidy home environment by loading/unloading the dishwasher, putting away groceries, wiping kitchen counters, running a light vacuum, doing light family laundry, and assisting with simple meal prep.

Requirements & Ideal Candidate

• Experience: 5+ years of professional nanny experience with significant, proven newborn and infant expertise.
• Traits: Trustworthy, highly punctual, safety-conscious, organized, and proactive (takes initiative without needing constant direction).
• Certifications: Current Infant CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain it within 30 days of hire).
• Health & Safety: Clean driving record. Fully vaccinated (including Tdap and annual flu shot) is required; Covid vaccination is highly preferred.
• Travel: Open and able to travel both within the US and internationally with the family.
• Commitment: Looking for a nanny with a heart for longevity who wants to become a long-term extension of the family.

About the Family

A wonderful dual-physician family in Edina is looking for a warm, deeply experienced nanny to join their team and help raise their sweet new little one! Their baby will be approximately 4 months old when the position starts. Because the parents have demanding medical careers, they truly value a calm, peaceful home environment and making the most of their family time.

In their free time, they enjoy reading, meditation, going on walks, playing board games, and traveling. Completing their family is a gentle, low-energy, and affectionate Cavapoo dog who loves going on walks with the baby and attends doggie daycare 1–2 days a week.

Schedule & Team Structure

To support the parents' hospital schedules, the total household hours will be split between a team of two dedicated nannies.

We are looking to hire for two separate roles—please specify your preference when applying:

• Role A (Mon–Wed Nanny): Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 6:30 AM – 6:30 PM (36 hours/week).
• Role B (Thu–Fri Nanny): Thursday from 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM AND Friday from 6:30 AM – 6:30 PM (20 hours/week).
• Note: Occasional weekday or weekend hours may be requested with advanced notice.
