Responsibilities

• Childcare & Development: Engage the girls in fun, educational activities to hit developmental milestones. Plan exciting local outings and drive them to community classes.
• Meals: Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the children.
• Daily Tidy: Handle light household support directly related to the children.
• Preschool Support Days: The girls attend preschool two times per week. During these hours, the nanny will provide additional household support including:
• Family laundry and seasonal clothes rotation.
• Meal preparation 1–2 times per week.
• Playroom toy organization and rotation.

Requirements & Ideal Candidate

• Commitment: Looking for a dedicated professional seeking a long-term role to grow with the family.
• Traits: Highly reliable, prompt, organized, and an excellent communicator.
• Education: A background or degree in education is preferred, though not required.
• Health & Safety: Influenza vaccine is required.

Schedule & Hours

• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week paid.
• The Dynamic: Because the parents are physicians, the daily schedule varies.
• Typical Shifts: Often, weeks are structured as 4 days per week (9–10 hours per day). Shift times usually range from 6:45/7:00 AM – 4:00/5:00 PM, with occasional later days from 9:00/10:00 AM – 6:00/7:00 PM.

About the Family

A wonderful dual-physician family in Plymouth is looking for an exceptional, long-term nanny to grow with them! They have two sweet, curious girls: an almost 4-year-old and a 2-year-old.

• The almost 4-year-old has the best jack-o’-lantern grin, loves learning, dancing, reading, and would happily jump on a trampoline all day. She is sweet one minute and spicy the next (true toddler form!).
• The 2-year-old loves chasing her big sister at full speed, is developing a fun, strong personality, loves music and water play, and gives the best big hugs.

As a family, they love spending time outdoors hiking, swimming, and playing in the yard. The girls also participate in community activities like gymnastics, t-ball, and swim lessons throughout the year. The family has one dog, but no routine pet care is required.
