Heavy Truck Driver

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Heavy Truck Driver (Trailer Driver) to safely operate heavy commercial vehicles for transporting goods to various destinations. The ideal candidate should have experience driving trailer trucks, follow all traffic and safety regulations, and ensure timely deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate heavy trucks and trailer vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Transport goods to designated locations on schedule.
• Inspect vehicles before and after each trip to ensure roadworthiness.
• Secure cargo properly and ensure safe loading and unloading.
• Maintain trip logs, fuel records, and delivery documents.
• Follow company policies, road safety regulations, and UAE traffic laws.
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, or maintenance requirements immediately.
• Keep the vehicle clean and in good working condition.
• Coordinate with dispatch and warehouse teams for delivery schedules.

Requirements

• Valid UAE Heavy Vehicle Driving License (Category 4 or relevant heavy truck/trailer license).
• Minimum 2 years of experience driving heavy trucks or trailer vehicles.
• Good knowledge of UAE roads and traffic regulations.
• Ability to drive long distances when required.
• Basic vehicle inspection and maintenance knowledge.
• Good communication skills.
• Physically fit and able to work flexible hours.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with tractor-trailers, semi-trailers, or articulated trucks.
• Experience transporting construction materials, containers, or heavy cargo.
• Defensive driving and safety training certification is an advantage.
