Ace Compliance Consulting is a home health, hospice, and personal assistance services consulting agency that contracts with agencies to assist agencies in meeting operational, educational and compliance challenges.

Position Overview:

We’re seeking a dynamic, experienced, and detail-driven Registered Nurse who is passionate about quality patient care, compliance excellence, and supporting home health agencies to succeed from the ground up. In this unique hybrid role, you will serve as both a Home Health Nurse Consultant and Supervising Nurse for small startup agencies (1–10 patients), providing hands-on guidance, quality assurance oversight, and compliance leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Consulting Excellence

• Provide expert guidance to home health startup agencies on policies, procedures, and operational best practices.
• Conduct compliance audits, chart reviews, and quality assurance assessments to ensure agencies meet or exceed state and federal regulations.
• Mentor and coach agency leadership on achieving and maintaining survey readiness.

Supervising Nurse Duties

• Serve as the designated Supervising Nurse for assigned startup agencies, ensuring all clinical services are delivered in compliance with regulations.
• Oversee and evaluate the performance of nursing and home health aide staff.
• Approve admissions, discharges, and care plans in alignment with agency policies and patient needs.
• Provide clinical leadership to ensure quality patient outcomes.

Survey Readiness & Compliance

• Prepare agencies for state, federal, or accreditation surveys.
• Collaborate with administrators to address deficiencies and implement corrective action plans.
• Utilize prior survey or ex-surveyor experience to anticipate compliance pitfalls and correct them proactively.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Registered Nurse (RN) License — active and in good standing.
• Minimum 3 years’ home health nursing experience.
• Proven quality assurance and supervising nurse experience in a home health setting.
• Strong knowledge of state and federal home health regulations.
• Survey preparation experience — ex-surveyor experience highly preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple agency accounts.
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.

· Live in Texas and MUST be willing to Travel.

Job Type: Consulting/ Contract - Flexible Hours

Pay may depend on skills and/or qualifications

Experience:

• Home Health: 3 years (Required) or
• Hospice: 3 years (Required)

License:

• HCS-O or COS-C (Preferred)
• Licensed Practical Nurse (Preferred)
• HCS-C (Preferred)
• Registered Nurse (RN) (Preferred)

Contract Length:

• Ongoing contract

Work Location: Renote & On-Site (as needed) - Serving multiple small home health startup agencies

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $35.00 - $55.00 per hour
