Hotel Housekeeping

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel, ensuring that guests have a comfortable and pleasant experience. This position requires a strong commitment to quality and efficiency in housekeeping management, along with a passion for providing exceptional service in the hotel industry.

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, and public areas according to established standards.
• Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as needed to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Dust, vacuum, and polish furniture and fixtures to maintain cleanliness and hygiene.
• Clean bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, showers, and mirrors, ensuring they are sanitized and well-stocked with supplies.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department promptly.
• Assist with laundry services as required, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; notify management when supplies are low.
• Uphold high standards of cleanliness in accordance with hotel policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial services is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean efficiently and effectively.
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and floor care is a plus.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests and staff members.
• A commitment to providing outstanding hospitality service while maintaining professionalism at all times.
