Job Summary
Bergas Sinergi Oman is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Internal Tax Manager to oversee the company’s tax compliance, reporting, and strategic tax planning activities. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with Omani tax regulations while supporting financial efficiency and organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all corporate tax compliance and reporting requirements
- Prepare and review tax filings, returns, and supporting documentation
- Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations in Oman
- Coordinate with external auditors, consultants, and tax authorities
- Develop internal tax policies and procedures
- Identify tax-saving opportunities and risk areas
- Support finance and accounting teams on tax-related matters
- Ensure timely submission of all statutory tax obligations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or related field
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in taxation or corporate finance
- Strong knowledge of Omani tax laws and regulations
- Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent are preferred
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills
- Strong communication and leadership abilities
- Proficiency in accounting and ERP systems
