Overview
The IT Solution Architect will play a critical role in the design, implementation, deployment, and adoption of IT solutions across the organization. This role will be responsible for ensuring that solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with business needs. You will work closely with various stakeholders and vendors to ensure that the solutions meet current requirements and are future-ready.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Coordination:
- Plan, consult, and coordinate projects related to application design, development, and implementation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
- Oversee the alignment of project goals with business requirements, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
2. Application Management:
- Maintain, customize, and enhance business applications based on user requirements.
- Collaborate with end-users to understand their needs and ensure the solution is tailored accordingly.
- Perform application upgrades, patches, and configuration changes as necessary to improve system performance.
3. Solution Architecture Design:
- Define and document the overall solution architecture, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and design technical solutions that address these requirements.
- Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, platforms, and tools for the solution.
4. Architectural Standards and Best Practices:
- Develop and maintain architectural standards, guidelines, and best practices to ensure consistency across projects.
- Ensure solutions meet performance, scalability, and security requirements to support the organization's goals.
- Continuously review and improve architectural standards in line with emerging trends and technologies.
5. Technical Leadership and Support:
- Provide technical guidance and direction to development teams, ensuring that solutions are implemented as designed.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues related to the architecture and solution delivery.
- Participate in post-implementation reviews to assess the solution’s performance and suggest improvements.
6. Continuous Improvement:
- Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of existing solutions, ensuring they remain efficient and relevant.
- Stay informed of the latest developments in technologies and frameworks to recommend upgrades or changes to enhance system performance.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in D365 F&O, CRM, and other relevant streams like Azure or AWS platforms.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in application management, systems engineering, or software development, with significant experience in solution architecture.
- Skills and Competencies:
- Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
- Expertise in databases and SQL.
- Solid knowledge of enterprise systems like MS D365 CRM, F&O, Business Central.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and architecture (Azure or AWS).
- Excellent communication skills to articulate technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

You will report to the Senior Manager - Group IT Applications.
