Job Overview

Avanza Solutions is looking for a highly experienced and creative Lead UI/UX Product Designer to lead the design vision and user experience of our digital products.

The ideal candidate will combine creative thinking, strong UX strategy, and product design expertise to create intuitive, visually engaging, and user-centered digital experiences. This role requires close collaboration with product managers, engineers, business teams, and key stakeholders to transform complex requirements into seamless and scalable product experiences.

The successful candidate will also lead design initiatives, establish design standards, and mentor junior designers while ensuring innovation, consistency, usability, and design excellence across all digital products.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the complete UI/UX design lifecycle, from user research and ideation to prototyping, testing, and final product delivery.
• Define and drive the overall product design vision and UX strategy.
• Design creative, intuitive, and user-centered experiences for web and mobile applications.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, competitor analysis, and design validation.
• Translate business requirements and user needs into user journeys, information architecture, wireframes, and interactive prototypes.
• Create high-fidelity user interfaces aligned with modern design principles and brand guidelines.
• Develop, maintain, and improve design systems, component libraries, and UI guidelines.
• Work closely with product managers, developers, and business stakeholders to ensure design feasibility and successful implementation.
• Review implemented designs and ensure visual accuracy, usability, accessibility, and consistency.
• Present design concepts, research findings, and product recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Guide, mentor, and provide constructive feedback to junior designers and creative team members.
• Promote user-centered design practices and continuous design improvement across the organization.
• Stay updated with emerging UX methodologies, design tools, technologies, and industry trends.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of professional experience in Product Design, UI/UX Design, or Digital Product Design.
• Proven experience leading product design initiatives and multidisciplinary design teams.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating creative product design, UX strategy, research, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar product design and prototyping tools.
• Strong understanding of interaction design, user flows, information architecture, usability, and responsive design.
• Hands-on experience building and managing scalable design systems and component libraries.
• Experience conducting user interviews, usability testing, and design validation.
• Experience working within Agile or Scrum-based product development environments.
• Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience designing SaaS, fintech, banking, or enterprise-level digital products.
• Experience working on complex dashboards, platforms, workflows, or transactional applications.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or React.
• Understanding of product analytics and data-driven design decision-making.
