Lead Video Editor

MadLocal Media is a real estate photography and media company based in Nashville, TN. We deliver listing media and brand content to real estate agents on a next-day model. We are hiring a Lead Video Editor to own the final quality of everything that is delivered to our clients.

The Role

This is a split position. Roughly half your time is spent as the final set of hands on client work: our junior editor cuts the first edit, and you refine that edit, hold it to our brand and quality standards, and deliver the finished project to the client. The other half is spent producing business content for MadLocal when you are not refining client projects.

Think of it as the senior editor in a two-person editing pipeline. The junior editor focuses on listing media. You take their work the last mile and you set the standard for what good looks like.

What You Will Do

Refine and finish edits handed off from our junior editor, then deliver to clients. Hold every project to our brand and quality bar before it ships. Produce business and brand content for MadLocal during downtime between client deliveries. Act as the quality control checkpoint for the editing team.

Requirements

This is not an entry-level position. You must have 2 to 5 years of professional video editing experience. You must edit in Final Cut Pro. You must have exceptional written and spoken English. You must be willing to work Central Time hours.

The Details

This is a part-time position moving into full-time as the workload grows. We are open to full-time as well as salary for the right candidate.

Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour
