Legal Advisor / Corporate Lawyer – FMCG

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, supplier agreements, and distribution agreements.
  • Provide legal advice on company operations, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations.
  • Support procurement, sales, and distribution teams on contractual and legal matters.
  • Handle regulatory compliance related to trade, labeling, food safety, and consumer protection laws.
  • Manage disputes, claims, and litigation matters, coordinating with external counsel when necessary.
  • Review and advise on employment contracts, HR policies, and labor law compliance.
  • Monitor changes in relevant legislation and advise management on legal risks and mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare legal documentation, contracts database, and compliance reports.
  • Liaise with government bodies, regulators, and licensing authorities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB); licensed to practice in GCC.
  • Minimum 3+ years of legal experience, preferably within FMCG, manufacturing, or logistics sectors.
  • Good knowledge of commercial law, contract law, and regulatory compliance.
  • Familiarity with trade regulations, consumer protection law, and food safety/labeling requirements.
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Fluency in [English/Arabic/other languages as required].

Preferred Skills

  • Experience handling disputes or litigation related to supply chain, distribution, or logistics.
  • Knowledge of employment law and HR compliance matters.
  • Exposure to corporate governance and risk management in an FMCG environment.
  • Strong analytical skills to support data-driven and risk-based legal decisions.

Pay: From QAR1,000.00 per month
