MEP- Construction Manager

Job Overview

Freyssinet Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced and dedicated MEP Construction Manager to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Since our inception in 1978, Freyssinet Saudi Arabia (FSA) has established itself as a leader in the construction industry, transitioning from a specialist in pre-fabricated and pre-stressed concrete to a major general contractor. We have a proud history of successfully delivering a wide variety of large-scale contracts, including building complexes, hospitals, industrial projects, commercial centres, and bridges. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) aspects of our prestigious construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

* Lead and manage all on-site MEP-related activities from project inception to completion.
* Coordinate effectively with project managers, clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution.
* Review and approve MEP design drawings, specifications, calculations, and material submittals.
* Ensure all MEP works comply with project specifications, industry standards, and local regulations.
* Develop and manage MEP project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
* Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of all MEP systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire safety.
* Implement and enforce strict health and safety protocols for all MEP operations on site.
* Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, ensure quality control, and identify potential issues.
* Provide technical guidance and support to the project team, resolving any complex MEP-related challenges.
* Prepare regular progress reports for senior management, detailing project status, milestones, and risks.

Qualifications

* A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
* Proven experience as an MEP Manager or in a similar senior role on large-scale construction projects.
* Comprehensive technical knowledge of all major MEP systems, components, and installation procedures.
* In-depth understanding of construction project management principles and practices.
* Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage a diverse team.
* Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
* Proficiency in relevant software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and project management tools.
* Thorough knowledge of international codes, standards, and health and safety regulations.
* Previous experience working in Saudi Arabia or the wider Middle East region is highly advantageous.
