Job Overview:
- A Food Production Manager is responsible for overseeing the production process, coordinating all production activities and operations, quality assurance, hygiene maitenance ,and ensuring that foods are produced safely and to the highest standard of quality.
- This role requires strong leadership, efficient project management, and a deep understanding of food safety regulations.

Manager Responsibilities & Duties
- Oversee daily food production operations to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- Develop and implement production schedules to meet demand
- Manage and supervise production staff, providing training and performance feedback
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to ensure the timely arrival of ingredients and materials
- Ensure proper maintenance of production equipment to minimize downtime
- Implement and maintain health and safety protocols according to regulatory standards
- Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with the quality assurance team to ensure product quality and consistency
- Coordinate with logistics to ensure timely distribution of finished products
- Develop and manage production budgets, including labor, materials, and overhead costs
- Resolve any production-related issues that may arise and provide timely solutions
- Participate in the development and optimization of new product recipes and processes
Food Production Manager Qualifications & Skills
- PHD / M.PHIL degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or related field
- Proven experience in food production management or a similar role
- Strong understanding of food safety standards and regulations
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Proficiency in production management software and tools
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills
- Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- High school diploma or equivalent; advanced degrees preferred
- Minimum of 10+ years experience in food production or manufacturing
- Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and other relevant food safety standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and production management software
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
Salary Bracket:150,000- 175,000
