Part Time Universal Banker

Job Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Part Time Universal Banker and become a vital part of delivering exceptional financial services to our valued customers. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for assisting existing customers with transactions via multiple venues (in-person, over the phone, web, etc.). Responsible for assisting new customers by determining what their financial needs are and best fit our products to their needs. Maintains and balances with the TCR (Teller Cash Recyclers) on a daily basis. Refers customers to correct department and personnel when regarding commercial and mortgage products.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

· Ability to perform cash handling functions on the front line to include handling, counting, and balancing on a daily basis

· Provide an exceptional level of customer service in person, via email and via the phone to meet and exceed customer’s expectations

· Maintain knowledge of current procedures as well as a current product and services handbook

· Assist in assigned internal projects and processes

· Have an in-depth understanding of electronic banking products

· Assist in all Safe Deposit Box functions including controlling the entry and exit of customers and maintaining of accounts

· Maintain a high level of accuracy, timeliness and attention to detail

· Be a physical presence at the bank and have both regular and reliable attendance

· Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Previous experience in financial sales, customer service, or retail banking preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential
• Strong understanding of banking operations including debits & credits, cash handling, cashiering, and basic math skills such as retail math and 10-key typing proficiency
• Knowledge of financial services products like loans, savings accounts, and fraud prevention techniques
• Excellent relationship management skills with a focus on customer satisfaction and community engagement
• Ability to handle cash accurately while adhering to security procedures for cash management and cashiering tasks
• Strong communication skills to effectively explain products and services while building trust with customers
• Flexibility to work part-time hours with availability during peak banking times

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
