Job Responsibilities:

As a Purchasing/Procurement Specialist at Skywater Technology, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless acquisition of materials and services essential for our operations. Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing and implementing procurement strategies that align with company goals.
• Identifying and evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, and maintaining relationships to ensure the best value for the organization.
• Managing the procurement process from requisition to delivery, ensuring timely and cost-effective purchasing.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to forecast material needs and optimize inventory levels.
• Analyzing market trends and supplier performance to inform purchasing decisions.
• Preparing and processing purchase orders, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Maintaining accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
• Supporting sustainability initiatives by identifying eco-friendly suppliers and materials.
• Participating in continuous improvement projects to enhance procurement practices and efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably within the technology or manufacturing sectors.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes, contract negotiation, and supplier management.
• Proficient in using procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
