Regional Director of Nursing

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Regional Director of Nursing to join our Skilled Nursing Group . In this vital role, you will serve as a clinical resource and expert, providing guidance on patient care practices across multiple facilities within your designated region. Your energetic approach will help ensure high standards of nursing care, compliance with healthcare regulations, and the seamless integration of clinical protocols. Duties

  • Provide expert consultation on patient care strategies, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory standards such as HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act)
  • Support nursing staff by offering education, training, and mentorship on physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and documentation procedures
  • Review medical records and documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with legal and organizational policies
  • Conduct regional assessments to identify opportunities for improving patient care processes and clinical workflows
  • Collaborate with facility leadership to develop and implement policies that enhance patient safety and quality of care
  • Serve as a liaison between different facilities to promote consistency in nursing practices and compliance standards
  • Stay current on healthcare regulations, industry trends, and advancements in medical knowledge to inform best practices across your region

Experience

  • Proven experience in nursing with a strong background in patient care and clinical practice
  • Prior experience working within healthcare regulations such as HIPAA is highly desirable
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret medical records accurately and ensure compliance with legal requirements
  • Excellent communication skills for training, mentoring, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to travel regionally as needed to support multiple facilities effectively
  • RN License in the State of RI

Pay: $140,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
