We partner with top-tier interior designers, architects, and high-net-worth clients to transform world-class spaces. After dominating our home market, we are expanding our footprint and looking for a dynamic, field-based Design Account Manager to pioneer and own the Dallas market.

This is a 100% remote, field-based role for a self-starting sales professional. You will work from your home office in the Dallas area but spend your time in the field, building bridges directly with the thriving DFW design community. This role offers an elite career track toward becoming our dedicated Regional Trade Specialist for the Texas market.

The Ideal Profile

You are a polished, highly autonomous professional who doesn't need to be micromanaged. You understand that luxury sales are built on relationships, technical knowledge, and meticulous follow-through. You likely already have deep roots in the Dallas interior design scene and are looking for a high-upside opportunity where your sales leadership is valued over mere "order-taking."

Key Requirements:

  • Industry Experience: Minimum 3+ years in Home & Decor, Luxury Retail, Residential Real Estate, or the Interior Design industry.
  • Geographic Focus: Must be based in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex with reliable transportation for client and site visits.
  • Network Advantage: An existing relationship or familiarity with the Dallas Design District and local trade professionals is a massive plus.
  • Technical Proficiency: Ability to read floor plans, calculate square footage/yardage, and confidently consult on color theory, pattern scale, and textile texture.
  • Sales DNA: A history of hunting, nurturing, and closing luxury accounts through proactive relationship-building.

Your Responsibilities

  • Territory Cultivation: Actively prospect and build a book of business with Dallas-based interior designers, architects, home builders, and luxury residential clients.
  • Consultative Sales: Guide clients through our extensive digital and physical sample curation, providing expert advice on material suitability and scale.
  • Field Consultation & Project Oversight: Conduct virtual design appointments and travel to local job sites/design firms for technical estimations and project coordination.
  • Brand Ambassadorship: Represent The Wallpaper Company at Dallas design industry events, networking groups, and trade shows to establish our brand presence.

Pay: $48,000.00 - $78,000.00 per year
