Job Overview
EVARA GROUP is seeking a meticulous and dedicated Remote Transcriptionist to join our dynamic global team. This is a Full-Time, remote position open to candidates residing in Canada and Mexico.

We specialise in delivering integrated solutions across the engineering, consulting, technology, and management advisory sectors. As a Transcriptionist, you will play a vital role in supporting our global operations by converting audio and video content into accurate, well-formatted written documents. This position requires an exceptional ear for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
* Listen to a variety of audio and video recordings, including meetings, interviews, and presentations, and accurately transcribe the spoken content.
* Review and edit transcriptions to ensure they are free of errors in grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
* Format transcriptions according to company-specific guidelines and style guides to ensure consistency.
* Manage and prioritise multiple transcription assignments to meet strict deadlines.
* Identify and flag any inaudible or unclear sections within recordings for further review.
* Maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion and professionalism.
* Collaborate with various teams to ensure the accuracy of technical terminology and project-specific details.
Qualifications
* Proven experience working as a professional transcriptionist or in a similar role.
* An excellent command of the English language, with outstanding spelling, grammar, and punctuation skills.
* A fast and accurate typing speed.
* Exceptional listening skills, with the ability to decipher different accents, dialects, and technical terminology.
* Proficiency in using transcription software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
* Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
* A high level of attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
* The ability to maintain focus and concentration for extended periods.
* Experience transcribing content related to engineering, technology, or business consulting is highly desirable.
