Roll Off Driver

Job Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Roll Off Driver, where you will play a crucial role in transporting waste and materials efficiently and safely. You’ll operate specialized roll-off trucks, ensuring timely delivery and pick-up services while adhering to all safety regulations. Your mechanical knowledge and driving expertise will be key in maintaining our high standards of service.

What you’ll do

• Operate roll-off trucks to transport containers to and from designated locations.
• Load and unload materials using appropriate equipment, ensuring safe handling practices.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in optimal working condition.
• Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, pick-ups, and vehicle maintenance records.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding schedules and any issues that arise.
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal transportation regulations while on the road.
• Perform heavy lifting as required when loading or unloading materials.
• Assist with the maintenance of equipment and report any mechanical issues promptly.

Basic qualifications

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Experience operating roll-off trucks, front loader trucks, rear loader trucks, dump trucks, or tractor-trailers.
• Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues effectively.

Preferred qualifications

• Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role within the waste management industry.
• Familiarity with roll off truck operations is a plus.
• Ability to work independently while being part of a team-oriented environment.
