Seasonal Barista Pike Place

Baxter and Frost are seeking a Barista to work in the evenings. We are a Cafe' / Bakery Treat shop near the entrance to the Pike Place Market with a high volume and proven location. Our family has operated a business here for over 27 years.

This position is primarily responsible for serving our customers from our varied menu including pastries, sweets, espresso and ice cream as well as closing our store with the highest integrity.

Duties include working the espresso bar, scooping ice cream, cash handling, cleaning, organizing, closing, and providing the best customer experience possible.

This is a specialty food service / retail business. Candidates with a history of success in this type of work will thrive here. Sweeping, mopping, stocking, cleaning, dishes, opening, merchandising and creating the best customer experience possible are all a part of the job.

Ideal candidates will have 2-3 years experience as a barista.

Part Time Seasonal Position April through September

There is usually an opportunity to join our permanent crew as positions become available. Hours are primarily over the weekends with shifts varying from mornings to evenings starting as late as 2PM and ending usually before 10:30.

Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
