Senior Accountant (ACCA / CA Finalist)

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Financial Controller / Accounts & Operations Analyst who can take complete ownership of our accounting and financial reporting functions.

This is not a basic bookkeeping position. We require a professional who thoroughly understands accounting from A to Z, can identify and rectify financial discrepancies, analyze business operations, and provide accurate financial insights to support management decisions.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Review, verify, and monitor all accounting entries recorded in QuickBooks.

✅ Identify, investigate, and correct accounting errors, misclassifications, and reconciliation issues.

✅ Ensure accurate maintenance of ledgers, journals, receivables, payables, inventory, and banking records.

✅ Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

✅ Prepare accurate Profit & Loss Statements (P&L), Balance Sheets, Cash Flow Statements, and management reports.

✅ Conduct month-end and year-end closing activities.

✅ Analyze operational activities and identify financial inefficiencies, leakages, and cost-saving opportunities.

✅ Develop financial controls, SOPs, and reporting systems to improve business performance.

✅ Coordinate with management regarding budgeting, forecasting, profitability analysis, and strategic planning.

✅ Ensure compliance with accounting standards, taxation requirements, and audit procedures.

✅ Perform financial analysis and provide actionable recommendations for business growth and profitability.

Required Qualifications

✔ ACCA Qualified OR

✔ CA Finalist

Important Eligibility Requirement

❌ Part-Qualified CA (Inter Level), CA Entry Route Candidates, B.Com, M.Com, BBA, MBA, or equivalent qualifications will not be considered.

Required Experience

✔ Strong hands-on experience with QuickBooks.

✔ Proven experience in preparing and finalizing monthly and annual financial statements.

✔ Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial controls, reconciliations, reporting, and analysis.

✔ Ability to independently manage complete accounting functions with minimal supervision.

✔ Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
