Senior Data Modeler

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models using data modeling tools.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, business analysts, and Data Engineer teams to gather business requirements and define data modeling standards.
• Design and implement data models that support business intelligence, data warehousing, and analytics initiatives.
• Ensure data models adhere to data governance policies, data quality standards, and industry best practices.
• Develop and maintain data model documentation, including data dictionaries, entity-relationship diagrams, and data flow diagrams.
• Participate in data architecture discussions and contribute to the development of the enterprise data architecture.

• Collaborate with database administrators to ensure physical database design aligns with data models. • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and data modeling best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 5-8 years of experience in data modeling, data architecture, or related field. Proficiency in data modeling.
• Strong understanding of data modeling concepts, including entity-relationship modeling, dimensional modeling, and data normalization.
• Experience using Erwin Data Modeler is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with stakeholders.
