Software Engineer

Company Overview:

A global investment firm with a rich history in discretionary macro trading and significant capabilities in model-driven and systematic investment approaches is seeking a Software Engineer for their AI Team. This role will focus on evaluating, distributing, and maintaining AI tools across the firm.

Job Responsibilities:

• Establish, iterate, and educate on best practices for agentic engineering
• Create, manage, and maintain internal MCP servers
• Define and maintain security policies and data entitlements for agentic projects
• Migrate legacy workflows to agentic workflows
• Maintain and contribute to internal skills repository
• Contribute to multiple concurrent projects
  
  

Qualifications:

• 5+ years as a software engineer working with Python or Java
• Strong SQL or NoSQL skills
• Experience building and maintaining MCP servers
• Experience with containerization (Docker/Podman)
• Experience with CLI agentic coding tools (Claude Code, Gemini CLI, Copilot CLI)
• Deep understanding of how modern models work – how they are trained, how they generate content, what are their strengths and weaknesses
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, physics, mathematics, or equivalent experience
  
  

Compensation: Salary: $150,000 – $250,000, Plus Bonus
