Are you fluent in both English and Spanish with a passion for bridging language and cultural barriers? We're looking for a detail-oriented and highly skilled Spanish Translator | English–Spanish Language Specialist | Localization, Interpretation & Multilingual Communications professional to help us deliver accurate, culturally relevant communication across diverse audiences.

In this role, you'll translate and localize written content, provide interpretation support, and ensure our communications are clear, professional, and culturally appropriate. Your work will directly support our teams, clients, and customers by making information accessible across languages while maintaining the original message, tone, and intent.

Key Responsibilities

As a Spanish Translator and Language Specialist, you will:

  • Translate documents, reports, marketing materials, websites, training content, contracts, manuals, presentations, emails, and other business communications between English and Spanish.
  • Adapt content through localization to ensure it is culturally appropriate, accurate, and engaging for Spanish-speaking audiences.
  • Provide written and verbal interpretation support for meetings, training sessions, client consultations, interviews, and company events as needed.
  • Proofread, edit, and review translated content to ensure grammatical accuracy, consistency, readability, and adherence to company style guidelines.
  • Maintain the meaning, tone, formatting, and intent of original content while ensuring natural and fluent translations.
  • Collaborate with internal departments including Marketing, Human Resources, Customer Support, Sales, Operations, and Legal to deliver high-quality multilingual communications.
  • Develop and maintain translation glossaries, terminology databases, and style guides to ensure consistency across projects.
  • Perform quality assurance reviews of translated materials and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Manage multiple translation projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
  • Conduct research to ensure accurate translation of technical terminology, industry-specific language, and cultural references.
  • Assist with multilingual customer support by responding to inquiries or translating communications when required.
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive company and client information.
  • Stay current with language trends, localization best practices, and industry terminology.

Qualifications

We're looking for candidates who possess:

Required Qualifications

  • Native or near-native fluency in both English and Spanish (written and spoken).
  • Excellent grammar, spelling, punctuation, and editing skills in both languages.
  • Strong understanding of cultural nuances and regional language variations.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate translations.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous professional experience in translation, interpretation, localization, multilingual communications, or bilingual customer support.
  • Experience translating business, legal, medical, technical, marketing, educational, or customer service content.
  • Familiarity with Computer-Assisted Translation (CAT) tools such as SDL Trados, MemoQ, Smartcat, Phrase, MemoQ, Wordfast, or similar software.
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS), Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, Adobe Acrobat, and document formatting.
  • Certification in translation or interpretation is considered an asset but is not required.
