Thompson Hotel - Room Attendant

Thompson Houston is now recruiting for a room attendant to join the hotel’s housekeeping team. Set in a soaring 36-story skyscraper, Thompson Houston + The Residences at the Allen is the city’s newest and most fashionable landmark. Previous cleaning experience as well as the ability to communicate to guests preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas, ensuring all areas meet quality standards.
• Perform floor care duties such as vacuuming, mopping, and polishing surfaces to maintain a pristine environment.
• Replace linens, towels, and other amenities as needed while adhering to hotel standards.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Ensure that all cleaning supplies are stocked and organized properly.
• Assist in the cleaning of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, and restrooms as required.
• Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitizing to ensure guest safety and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment
• 1 year of previous housekeeping experience preferred
• Refined verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to lift, pull, and push a moderate weight

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
