TIG Welder

Canton Racing Products has been a competitor in the high performance aftermarket for nearly 40 years. Our sheet metal shop specializes in American Made High Performance Automotive Engine accessories which we distribute to local racers, top engine builders and OEMs across the country and beyond. We manufacture our products from light gauge sheet steel and aluminum using CNC punches, press brakes, shears, and welders.

We are seeking qualified individuals to fill Tacker and Welder positions within our welding department. Tackers will be responsible for following blueprints and instructions to tack weld fabricated parts, while Welders will be responsible for welding all seams to ensure a leak-free finished product. All our products are 100% TIG welding, followed by double leak testing and QC inspection before delivery to our customers.

All of the positions are full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday and offer excellent growth potential. The ability to read prints and a tape measure down to 16ths are pluses.

Compensation will depend upon experience and skill level. This position is for someone with at least some basic welding experience. We are open to little experience or self taught, but you must have some basic familiarity with the welding process.

Please note that our application process includes a short math skills and TIG welding evaluation.

This is a full time (40 hour a week) position, Monday - Friday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM., with occasional overtime offered. Our benefits package includes health, dental, life and disability insurance. In addition, we offer an IRA retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid vacation.

Qualifications
- Proficiency in TIG welding
- Experience working with sheet metal
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately
- Familiarity with using calipers and micrometers for precise measurements
- Strong understanding of basic math concepts
- Prior experience in fabrication and welding processes
