Join our Huntington Learning Center's educational team as a K-12 Tutor, an SAT/ACT Tutor and more.

In this role, you will provide engaging, personalized instruction to students across elementary, middle, and high school levels. Your expertise in curriculum development, learning technology, and classroom management will help foster a positive learning environment that inspires confidence and academic growth. Whether working with children or supporting adult learners, you’ll play a vital role in helping students achieve their educational goals . All Lesson plans, parenting interaction/meetings are done by Directors. All you are asked it to teach!

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging tutoring sessions tailored to individual student needs across various K-12 grade levels
• Collaborate with educators to track progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
• Implement specialized techniques for students with diverse learning needs, including those requiring special education support

Bachelor's Degree required, Teaching Certification for Skills Tutoring needed

Experience

• Prior classroom experience or tutoring experience working with children or adolescents in educational settings
• Familiarity with classroom management techniques and working with students of varying abilities and backgrounds
• Experience using learning technology platforms or digital tools to support remote or hybrid instruction
• Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with students of all ages and their families
• Knowledge of special education practices to support inclusive learning environments

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
