Video Editor Intern

Pacific Coast Pictures LLC is looking for a creative, motivated, and detail-oriented Video Editor Intern to join our team for Summer 2026, with the opportunity to transition into a full-time role afterward.

This is a paid hybrid internship ideal for someone passionate about storytelling, content creation, filmmaking, and digital media. You’ll work closely with our creative team on a variety of projects ranging from YouTube long-form content and commercial campaigns to social media edits and occasional photo retouching work.

We’re looking for someone who is hungry to learn, highly collaborative, organized, and excited to grow within a fast-paced creative environment.

Responsibilities

• Edit engaging long-form YouTube content, branded videos, and commercial-style content
• Assist with post-production workflows including media organization, syncing, exporting, and project management
• Create motion graphics, titles, and visual enhancements using Adobe After Effects*
• Collaborate with producers and creatives to bring concepts and stories to life
• Perform basic color correction, sound cleanup, and photo retouching when needed
• Help maintain efficient editing workflows and file management systems
• Incorporate feedback quickly and efficiently while meeting deadlines

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro required
• Experience with Adobe After Effects preferred
• Familiarity with DaVinci Resolve is a plus
• Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, music selection, and visual composition
• Basic knowledge of photography or photo retouching is a bonus
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating with a team
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Passion for filmmaking, content creation, YouTube, and digital media

Bonus Skills

• Camera or production experience
• Motion graphics or animation experience
• Experience editing for YouTube or social-first platforms
• Understanding of current online content trends and creator culture
